In April, Mitch will be turning 70 and in June will also be celebrating his 25th year serving as President of CPM. We’re putting together a surprise collection of greetings and stories from special people like you. Would you be able to take a few moments to make a short video? It would be great to say how you met and tell an anecdote or two (you probably have a few!).

Video Recording Tips

Some tips for your recording on a phone:

Record yourself so that you’re facing the light source (It is lighting up your face). Do not have windows or lamps behind you as it will affect the overall exposure.

Record in a quiet room/area with minimal echo/ambient noise. (Carpeted would be ideal)

Record at the highest resolution your phone can record (30 fps, you can film in either 4k or 1080p).

You can use camera and audio equipment if you have and know how to use them.

Do not have the camera too close to your face. We should at least see your mid-torso and up.

Some tips for recording on a professional camera or DSLR

Record yourself so that you’re facing the light source (It is lighting up your face).

Do not have windows or lamps behind you as it will affect the overall exposure.

Record in a quiet room/area with minimal echo/ambient noise. (Carpeted would be ideal)

Camera settings: select 30 frames per second ALL-I (For DSLRs), you can film in either 4k or 1080p.

If you have audio equipment (a microphone), please use it for best sound quality.

Do not have the camera too close to your face. We should at least see your mid-torso and up.
